Jim Hartley has an extensive background in the Gaming industry, with over 15 years of security & surveillance experience at some of the world's largest Casinos. With an impressive employment history with the likes of MGM Grand Las Vegas, MGM Mirage, Stratosphere Tower and Trump Taj Mahal to name a few, Jim has a superior understanding of and expertise in the gaming industry.
In his primary role protecting casinos from advantage play and cheats, Jim has identified and analyzed the play of thousands of advantage players and teams, minimizing potential casino losses, while providing superior auditing of games, procedures and personnel. In his positions as Casino Investigations Supervisor and Surveillance Operator for Game Protection Units at various facilities, he has instructed and trained Casino management on the identification of advantage players and assessed the overall security of gaming procedures.
With a law enforcement and K-9 explosive detection background for the United States Air Force, Jim provided security for the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, the United States Ambassador to Germany and won the 1986 Peacekeeper Challenge K-9 Competition.
